STAR Flight was requested to assist with flood rescue operations in New Braunfels, TX along the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers. SF was tasked with the search and rescue of 2 victims heard screaming in the trees. Once over scene a male survivor was located in a cypress tree approx 10' above the water line and 10' below the tree canopy. The rescuer was lowered to the victim using the STROP the survivor was secured the extracted and recovered into the a/c. The victim was secured with restraint. The search for a remaining survivor in the area was begun.
