American Heroes Airshow
Austin, Texas

How do you define a hero?   We describe them simply as Ordinary people doing Extra-ordinary things for others.

Once again, the American Heroes Air Show will kick off its season in Austin, Texas.
This unique event features helicopters and their crews as well as public safety teams from local, county, state, public and private EMS as well as federal /military agencies.
The event is produced by local volunteers with a passion for public service and aviation.
It provides an exciting, up-close view of the crews and their equipment as well as their dynamic role in community service,
homeland security and national defense!

We have a number of different aircraft slated to arrive. We will have an R22, a single engine trainer, on up to the mighty Blackhawk and an Apache, the ultimate in military helicopters. We will have the regional EMS aircraft, to include STAR Flight, STAT Air and Air-Evac. Air One, from the Austin Police Department, as well as aircraft from the DEA and Coast Guard will also be on site.

Our flight teams will begin arriving at 8:00 AM, weather permitting. Departures will begin at 3:00 PM.

A very special thanks to our Sponsors, Naplam Motor Sports and Brown Distributing.

The American Heroes Airshow is just part of the weekend-long American Heroes Celebration. Check the Schedule of Events on the next page.

Honor - Respect - Remember

We are very honored this year to be hosting the American Veteran's Traveling Tribute (AVTT.org). This includeds a replica of the Vietnam Memorial (80% the size) nearly 380 feet long. Every one of the 15,253 soldiers that died in the conflict are listed. They have also created a Cost of Freedom Tribute that honors all those that have died serving this great country since Vietnam.

The American Veteran's Traveling Tribute will be open to the public from 8 am to 8 pm Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm!
